Paula Schwabe (*1994) studied fine arts in the painting department at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin. She completed her studies in 2021 as a master class student in Professor Nader Ahriman’s class. She lives and works in Berlin. (CV↓)

Like a diary, my paintings become assemblies of my life’s collected fragments – a flashback collage of images and heightened emotions, scarred by prisms of looming societal structures. Like memory, life becomes a thing forgotten unless penned down. A painting, therefore, becomes to me an act of preserving the Vital.
